MEETING WITH AFRICA INSTITUTE OF SOUTH AFRICA DELEGATION
Took place today at Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to explore collaboration between our institutions. I accompanied our Vice Chancellor in my capacity as Project Director of Mayardit Space Academy.

SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, AND INNOVATION CONFERENCE
My attendance marked my last official engagement before stepping down and it took place in Nairobi between 5th to 8th March 2024. Conference was organised by East African Science and Technology Commission and (IUCEA).

MY NEXT ASSIGNMENT
Pleased to announce that during handover ceremonies on Friday our incoming Vice Chancellor, Professor Robert Deng offered to assign me as Project Director of Mayardit Academy for Space Sciences, a challenge that I accepted with great pride and gratitude.

AT OUR HANDOVER CEREMONY TODAY
I encouraged incoming Vice Chancellor, Professor Deng, to be a multidisciplinary manager. Borrowing words of Philosopher Isaiah Berlin, I said: “don’t be a hedgehog, be a fox. The hedgehog knows one big thing. The fox knows many small things.”
