Wer erinnert sich an die süßen Debatten zum "richtigen" CO2-Preis im Wärmemarkt (BEHG) letztes Jahr? 35 Euro/t sind es geworden, 60 Euro/t fanden einige viel zu hoch. Der Gaspreisanstieg der letzten 12 Monate entspricht übrigens einen CO2-Preis von 1200 Euro/t.

A lot of people think that plant-based milks are bad for the environment (e.g. use a lot of water). They certainly aren’t perfect. But no matter how you look at the data they are way better than dairy milk.

I grew up here in #Gstaad and learned skiing on this slope in the 70s. Back then scientists had evidence that fossil fuel causes warming. This is Jan 1, 2023. Climate science is my profession, but this is where it gets personal. When do we understand that we need to change?

Deutschland baut auf ca. 1,6 Mio. ha Mais & andere Substratpflanzen an, die dann als Biogas zur Stromerzeugung verbrannt werden. Raus kommen 30 TWh Strom (da ist Gülle-Biogas mit dabei). Würde man auf diese Fläche Solarzellen bauen, wären das etwa 1500 GW. Das ist sehr viel.
