I found both of these shows absolutely delightful. Great productions and well worth the trip to the Ruins. Highly recommended for #WpgTheatre fans.

Today I was paid what may be the highest compliment a Canadian can get from a stranger on the street — “nice tuque.”

Here’s my mom getting her Queen’s Platinum Jubilee medal for a lifetime of volunteer service to Town of Morris, MB from Heather Stefanson and MLA Blaine Pedersen. She is not on Twitter, so I can’t @ her, so I’ll just have to tell her I’m pretty damn proud of her in person. At some point.

I love this entry on “trite expressions” from an old Winnipeg Free Press style guide in the WAG-Qaumajuq exhibit. Pretty sure I’ve gently removed a few of these from copy myself.
