STARGAZERS DELIGHT! Tonight is the peak of the Orionid Meteor Shower! It will be best to look ESE towards the Orion Constellation around and after midnight. With a new moon, it should be extra dark which means easier to see shooting stars.

And just like that sunset is at 5:26 PM. The clouds we had this afternoon are creating an incredible sunset this evening. Are you a fan of the earlier sunset or prefer it later?

We have some enhanced fire weather this afternoon. This combination of low humidity, dry ground conditions and strong winds will make it easier for fires to start and spread.

Check out the gorgeous sunset over the Queen City! Winds are calming down this evening but the cold air is also moving in. This week is actually going to feel like January outside!

WATCH OUT: Be careful where you get weather information this week. We could have another system next weekend, but its still WAY too early to get specifics. Models are known for throwing out crazy numbers this far out. Stay with Severe Weather Center 9 for the latest.
