We sucessfully danced up a spectacular sunrise. Birmingham will have its sun for another year! It was so powerful, it set fire to our sticks...

On Wednesday we went to the Stag's Head at Wellesbourne for a great night with hosts Hereburgh Morris plus White Hart, Shakespeare Morris and #belledvain. Tonight we'll be in Brum, at the Jewellers Arms, Hockley Street B18 6BW,at 8 pm. In the Jewellery Quarter, appropriately!

Tonight it's a pub night! From 8pm we'll be at the Colmore on Colmore Row, B3 3BD, in Birmingham city centre. It's a great pub with a fine selection of beers, tonight with added Jockey!! Come along, we'd love to see you.

On Friday night (15th) we will be performing from 8pm approx at the Cask and Craft, 56 Boldmere Road, Boldmere B73 5DP. Come along for music, dance and and some amazing beers!

A fantastic night yesterday at the Cask and Craft. Good reaction from the audiences sitting outside for a drink in the lovely evening weather. Many thanks to Mo at Mother India for a huge stack of poppadoms, onion salad and mint raita! They went beautifully with the great beers!

Today Jockey, along with lots of other sides, are performing in Stratford for Shakespeare Morris day of dance. If you're in the area, why not come along and see some great music and dance?

Tomorrow (21st) from 8pm we will be at the excellent Beacon Hotel in Sedgley with 1st Sedgley Morris for their end of season bash. Also friends from other sides, helping to make it even better! Join us all for ace beers from the Sara Hughes Brewery, plus fine music and dance.

Jockey are in Saddleworth for the Rushcart weekend. Meeting up with friends from other sides is a big part of the joy of morris, so here are fine folk from Jockey and Cambridge Morris Men!

If you've thought "I'm not a folkie, would I fit in with a morris side?" then don't worry! Our musicians can channel Hawkwind to invoke the Spirit Of The Age... It's not all work either. Particularly when we head over to mainland Europe we like to soak up the local way of life!

As usual, Jockey will be performing at Bromyard Folk Festival this weekend (storms, plague or pestilence permitting). If you're there come and see us and say hello.We like human contact!

Congratulations to our Alfie who was presented with his baldrick today and danced out for the first time in his full kit!!

Sunday at Bromyard got a little damp in the afternoon before dancing had to be abandoned. We tried to shelter, but the gazebo couldn't hold off the rain as we watched Gidderskins having a paddle at the Rose and Lion...

Our Squire Pete and our Brilliant dancer/musician Fraser were at Peterborough Day of Dance yesterday, and performed with a scratch side with friends from other sides. Thanks go to Peterborough Morris for another excellent day.
