One of the hardest news to take at 15 was the death of two great friends who perished in Nanisivik Dec 1977 from a plane crash. I did not know about mourning. Today I do and my tears are flowing freely. My heart goes out to those that will be at the memorial.

Cancer has claimed the life of our dear cousin who was like a brother to us. He battled with all his might. We are all very saddened by his passing Leo Maktar. Big hugs going to my childhood friend and his lifelong partner, Myna. Leo, your presence will be so missed. Rest easy.

I've lost my dearest sister to cancer, now it's our youngest brother who was recently diagnosed with stage 4. Heavy heart and feeling hopeless. Hard to stay strong all the time.
