Always start by measures to improve energy-efficiency.
Like converting into oxyfuel combustion, and then use hydrogen.
The first steel reheating furnaces with oxyfuel using 100% H2 as a fuel are now in full-scale operation.

China is the world’s largest emitter of CO2, but also the world’s largest producer of Renewable Energy as well as of equipment like Wind Turbines and Solar Power. Accordingly, to be successful in achieving Global Decarbonization, cooperation with China is necessary.
