Nothing sinks my heart more than seeing people with #dementia being automatically presented with plastic children’s cups (in every & any primary colour), spouted beakers, large tartan tabards branded as “clothing protectors”, a ‘spoon culture’… the list goes on 😔🥤🥣🫕🍼🥄

What a great week we have had celebrating our volunteers. The bring so much to our staff and patients, we wouldn't be us without them.

Last assignment of this academic year submitted, now the wait for the results!! Cannot believe a year has gone by already, 1 down, 3 to go!!

Just a thought... if art in hospitals decorate space, then perhaps the music of laughter decorates time. A ward/unit where you hear laughter between patients, patients and staff, and staff themselves is so often one where good care is can be found💙
