It was a great final Cooking Challenge for Unami Middle School as we began with a pizza demonstration from "Chef John" - Culinary Director GT Prime and GT fish & Oyster. The kids loved hearing how he got started, what it is like to work in a restaurant, and hope to visit him in Chicago.

I demonstrated how to make a Frozen Fruit Parfait with Homemade Maple Granola for my 9th Gr Cooking Ss. I was able to add kale from our CB Holicong MS garden thanks to our Bee Well Club and Brett Vogelsinger. Students were very impressed and I am hopeful they will eat more kale.

Completed my annual local blueberry buying Solebury Orchards to freeze for my CB Holicong MS 9th Gr Cooking Ss. We will make delicious and nutritious blueberry pineapple hand pies and discuss #buyinglocal #carbonfootprint #freezingfresh #superfoods #piemaking. Can’t wait! #FCSTeacher

The CB Holicong MS Bee Well Club has been spreading some beauty the past few weeks to our staff. Thanks to Brett Vogelsinger and our students who planted and maintained our garden all year. Can’t wait to plan and start our next season.
