A year ago today I survived this fatal accident barely two weeks to my wedding day. Looking back at this moment makes me realize how easy it is for death to sneak up on us without prior notice. I don’t know how I escaped death, but the certainty is God ain’t done with me yet.

It’s quite amazing how ‘daily bread’ doesn’t even make it to most of our prayer lists—because we’re so used to having options. Meanwhile, there are millions out there praying just for one meal. May we never forget to be deeply grateful.
