Dalton Smith has been the ultimate on the fence fighter for me in terms of whether or not I thought he'd win a world title. There were some fights where he looked the part and others where he looked far from it. I guess we'll find out on January 10th.

Terence Crawford is currently listed number one on the BoxRec People's P4P vote. This ends Usyk's 49 straight weeks at the top spot since we introduced the feature.

I like Makhmudov and Vianello as opponents for Itauma, not Joshua. Would rather someone like Zhang or Hrgovic fight Joshua. Or Tyson Fury if that's realistic. Wilder would also make a much more attractive opponent than Makhmudov or Vianello would. Lots of better options for AJ.

Fascinating matchup. We're going to find out a lot about Liddard here. This is his sink or swim fight. Getting past Conway would be a big statement.

The trajectory of Brian Norman Jr in the betting market has been astonishing. He's gone from a near 4/1 underdog against Gio Santillan to a betting favorite against Devin Haney in the span of a year and a half.

Matias opens as a slight favorite against Dalton Smith Smith getting a ton of respect in this spot when considering Matias is more proven at this level and it will be Smith's first fight on US soil and in front of a pro-Matias New York crowd with plenty of Puerto Rican support.

Huge performance from George Liddard. Have always rated Liddard but his ceiling might be higher than I thought. Would have projected him to maybe max out at European level. But after yesterday he's someone who could get to world level eventually if he continues on this trajectory

Fabio Wardley has been doubted every step of the way. The 'white collar boxer with no amateur experience' has exceeded all expectations to get to this point. He's overcome adversity in fights and pulled off stunning comebacks. Can he do it again? #ParkerWardley

Despite his brief time at the top, Stanley Ketchel is ranked by some as the greatest middleweight of all-time. Simply put, he was one of the most vicious and devastating punchers to ever wear boxing gloves. Here we take a look at his career. Check it out: thefightcity.com/fight-city-leg…

The problem with this argument is he's comparing Usyk's resume to the greatest Heavyweight resume that we've ever seen. The 2024 Dodgers aren't the 1927 Yankees either but that doesn't take away from their greatness. Neither are the 2025 Thunder compared to the 1996 Bulls etc.

Ketchel was a wildman in and out of the ring. A very interesting character in our sport's history. He's someone who every boxing fan should learn about.

Toughest fight of Wilkens Mathieu's young career. Look forward to seeing how the star prospect handles the veteran Phinn, who is not far removed from earning a draw against Erik Bazinyan.

An interesting back story and dynamic to this fight. The #ParkerWardley undercard is pretty bad but this is actually one fight worth tuning in for.
