It’s 3 years to the day that I was elected to the Scottish Parliament for The SNP and I’m an honoured to have been asked by the First Minister John Swinney to continue as Minister for Agriculture and Connectivity

As an optimist, I’ve been hopeful every time a new First Minister has taken office in Scotland.

But it hasn’t been since Donald Dewar that I’ve felt an incoming FM has struck the right notes quite as much as John Swinney has in the last week.
