A1: I will continue to reinforce tracking assignments (did you write it down?), helping students advocate for themselves, and being my silly goofy self with my students. #AppleEDUChat

A2: I do a lot of one-on-one work with Ss - I try to make sure we meet at a time that works for them but doesn’t take away needed breaks: not during lunch, not after school, and not during something “fun” if we can avoid it. My job is to help, not add more stress. #AppleEDUChat

A3: Lately some parents don’t understand the work their S is doing is important. Many Ss are missing work & some parents want us to ignore it. They don’t want to hear work is foundational. Would be nice to have more of a partnership & appreciation for my knowledge. #AppleEDUChat

A4: my school realized this and got grants for teachers to help with our mental well-being. I used my grant to take a ceramics class at my house. It’s been a lovely way to get my creative juices flowing again! #AppleEDUChat

A5: I always ask my Ss what they’ve been doing and who they are spending time with. My most vulnerable kiddos I make sure are talking to our school counselor. #AppleEDUChat
