Hi Daiichi Sankyo US - on the theme of "really listening" - can you please follow up with Marsha McLeod who is posting about her difficulty contacting your patient support program?

The NYT decided this badda-bing line from @JBPritkzer was worth a "fact check." They have still never found it worth doing a serious story on Trump's cognitive fitness for office.

Gus Walz’s reaction last night doesn’t need justification. It doesn’t matter if he’s neurodivergent. Men can cry. Men can show emotion. His reaction to his father’s speech was absolutely beautiful. 💙

A moment of such unutterable beauty that it’s worth taking a moment to remember that anyone professing disgust or dismay at the sight of Gus Walz’s pure emotion is suffering from a heartbreaking lack of love in their own life.

Re: the hateful comments about Gus Walz, son of Tim Walz, by self-professed Christians. NB: 90% of the Christian life is: Don't be mean. Also, do you think Jesus would mock someone with any kind of disability? Remember your Gospels: these are precisely the people Jesus seeks out

Still can't believe this. I am one of so, so many who was lucky enough to call Darrel J. McLeod a cherished friend. He was inspired and inspiring and loving and wildly generous and had so many books left to write. Heartbroken for his family and all who loved him. No words. What a void.

Darrel exuded kindness and brilliance, and I feel so fortunate to have spent time with him over the years. He was like an uncle/big brother to so many writers and storytellers, rich with a nurturing and generous spirit. My sincerest condolences to his loved ones ❤️✊🏽

We are devasted to learn of Darrel J. McLeod's passing. His Memoir, “Mamaskatch: A Cree Coming of Age" won the Governor General’s Literary Award for Nonfiction in 2018. Words cannot express what his loss means for so many people and communities. We will miss him dearly.

It's hard to put Darrel McLeod into words. He mentored others, and brought joy and music with him where ever he went. We are so grateful to have had Darrel with us, and send our love to his family. His ripples will spread far and wide, and we will miss him greatly.

In Nov 2021, I had a few hours' reprieve from the pandemic interviewing my friend Darrel J. McLeod for #ArtsMedLife at nac. We hadn't ever met in person at that point, but he'd already been a generous champion of my writing, because that was Darrel. 💔 facebook.com/CanadasNAC.CNA…

Brittany Finally, there's not a province in this country that isn't struggling with ER closures and extreme hospital bed and family physician shortages, as alan drummond and other clinicians and hospital leaders can (and sometimes do) attest. If provinces actually reported COVID-19 data

Today has been the only day on my vacation where someone from either of my workplaces has not tried contacting me. Whether I chose to respond or not is irrelevant. It shouldn’t be this way but this where it’s at. I don’t see a change to this coming anytime soon. Sigh

Tara Moriarty Worth noting that BC schools restart on Sept. 3rd without any mitigation and still no Clean Indoor Air. BC Teachers should also be aware of the change at WorkSafeBC. Begs the question what are the unions doing about this? BC Teachers’ Federation worksafebc.com/en/covid-19/cl…
