Each year, U.S. News puts out a list of the 25 most dangerous cities in America. Baltimore, for the first time in a long time, is not on that list.

Diaspora wars go viral because they’re fake. In reality this is the closest the African diaspora has ever been. Record numbers are visiting the continent. Investment is up. Connections are deeper. Pan-Africanism isn’t niche anymore. It’s mainstream, and only getting louder.

We’re in the century of the unification of the Black diaspora. • Afropolitan is creating borderless citizenship • AfroFuture is running businesses across two continents • BLIA is making global real estate accessible • Sanbra City is turning diaspora dreams into cities

Black families in the diaspora send billions home every year. We’re sending on trust. And most of it disappears. No system. No receipts. No leverage. Then we get blamed for “not investing in Africa.” We’ve been investing. We just haven’t had the infrastructure to protect it.

I bet you thought foreigners couldn’t own land in Ethiopia… That might change soon. The Council of Ministers has approved a draft law that could allow foreign ownership of property. If passed, it could reshape investment, jobs & housing in Ethiopia. Check comment 👇

The biggest wealth transfers happen when disconnected networks suddenly connect. We're standing at exactly that point.

An underrated test of executive ability is to accurately identify which line at Costco will move the fastest as you approach a crowded check out area

OpenAI don’t even respect big homies, I know Greg Brockman doesn’t, and for me? I never respected other AI companies that’s why I always got the problems I got. They tell me ‘Sam, chill’, no chill for what? Who is this company?!? - Sam Altman

I've never said it before, but I'll say it again: If you exempt an industry from anti-discrimination law (constitutionally dubious) You end up with an industry that becomes a huge attractor and power accumulation center for the most bigoted scoundrels the country has to offer.

I don’t know if this indicative of anything but Threads was ahead of Twitter for the Essence discourse and online arguments. TikTok was ahead of both cuz videos were posted in real time, some of which had provocative hot takes. Threads however was ground zero for the discourse.

The stock market outperforms real estate. But your grandparents would still leave you the house over a million dollar portfolio. Why? For them, land isn’t just wealth. They don’t care about the math. You’ll never convince an 80 year old Black elder that a portfolio is better

The culture war in the US is not a Black issue. It’s a civil argument within the majority. There’s money, power, and institutional structure on both sides. None of them belong to us. I have preferences. I’m not neutral. But this is “heritage” America deciding who it wants to be
