JUST IN

The Premier League's Independent Key Match Incidents Panel has ruled that there was only ONE VAR / referee error of three incidents Nottingham Forest complained about following their controversial 2-0 defeat at Everton on April 20.

Just shows how difficult refereeing is
Oliver is looking straight at the challenge, he couldn't be in a better position

Clear foul but the ref is looking straight at it - he couldn't have a better view
I've no affinity to either side but that such a poor poor decision

We're almost at the stage where we could now go into administration and be comfortable thanks to the unbelievable job Sean Dyche has done

Imagine how toxic Goodison would be if we pissed with the ball in our own box when 2 nil down like Brighton are doing

What do you mean by every decision
In the last Derby, you got a pen, we had a player sent off for 2 innocuous fouls, Konate wasn't sent off and Tsimikas wasn't even booked for 3 poorer challenges that Young got sent off for

I don't remember any decisions like that last night

I thought Andy Madley, the ref, was excellent last night - he didn't stand for any of the usual big club petulance
Head and shoulders above Anthony Taylor's erratic performance on Sunday

As someone who knows a bit about reffing, I know which ref I'd have going to the Euro's.

11 league wins this season - same amount as Brighton

De Zerbi being talked about as Barcelona's next manager
Yet most Everton fans want Dyche replaced despite gaining more points than last 2 seasons with still 4 games to go

Very confusing this
Jarred Gillett can't do Everton or Liverpool despite being from Australia because he went to John Moores University. But Mike Dean did plenty of Merseyside games ?
Amazing no ref claims to support Man Utd, who are probably the best supported club in the world

Went to Everton v Nottingham Forest yesterday, the first time two Premier League clubs had met with an asterisk against their name. An inglorious day and an unedifying end. Infamy, infamy...

Says the person who didn't walk when he snicked off to 1st slip.

He also perfected the celebratory appeal trying to con umpires into making mistakes when bowling

You can't have it both ways
