We read this cool Mycobacterium tuberculosis article this week at our journal club. They used experimental evolution (for 2 years!!) and WGS to identify convergent adaptation in biofilm inducing conditions! Dr. Peter Flanagan check this one out

I've just been informed that an actual picture of me came up on the first results page when a friend googled my name... The majority still look like this though.

I forgot I cleaned up my computer desktop last night.. I just opened my laptop and panicked. I forgot I put all my files in the Documents folder.. where they are supposed to be.

I had my final six month review with my supervisors today (hopefully)! I find it helpful to take a look back at what you have done and to create a plan for the future. I'm feeling positive about the next few months of the PhD process!

The first woman Provost in the 429 year history of Trinity College Dublin has been elected. I'm proud to have been able to cast my PG vote for Linda Doyle. Great things are coming!
