The Biden-Harris Administration has unveiled bold, new actions to cut down on so-called junk fees that raise the prices for consumers on everything from internet service to hotel rooms.

There are real reasons why coming out of pandemic inflation, Americans aren’t still all sunshine and roses on the economy. But the fact that this is the CNN homepage right now, and this is just typical coverage of the Biden economy, is a major part of it.

This past year has been spent entirely with unemployment near record lows below 4% and huge job growth. You couldn’t blame the American people for not knowing that though, because headlines during that time were overwhelmingly about a speculative “recession” that never happened.

Almost 14 million jobs in less than 3 years is the greatest stretch of job growth in American history, unemployment under 4% for 20 months is basically unheard-of. That’s #Bidenomics .

Even bigger problem was that the bill they voted down was also a shutdown bill, designed to go nowhere & do nothing but give them a blame-shifting fig leaf. IRL it would have been quick, cascading catastrophe. All they have to do: stick by the McCarthy deal 2/3 of them voted for.
