Two in three UK adults (66%) believe that athletes have a role to play in championing causes they believe in and raising awareness of social issues from new research published today 💫 #InternationalWomensDay

2022 was an amazing year for sport, and major events here in the UK definitely delivered 📬

2.7 million people attended events, and £870 million was put into the economy from Birmingham 2022 alone, bring on 2023! 🎆

Last year was a momentous year for staging major sport events in the UK 🇬🇧

Creating extraordinary moments to inspire and unite the nation as well as harnessing the power of sport to inspire positive change 💫
