Saturday evening 1st November, 7pm at Jesmond Library Join us for an evening of poetry & music with poet Harry Gallagher & musicians Miggins Fiddle telling the story of Ballast Hills Burial Ground in nearby Ouseburn Valley. Tickets £5, pay at the door.

Yesterday was a great evening of music and poetry in Jesmond Library by Miggins Fiddle and Harry Gallagher. Plus some fascinating local history about the Ballast Hills (on the edge of the Ouseburn Valley).

This Thursday 6th November, 6pm at the Library,we will be welcoming Moz Murphy to tell us more about the magic of cheese. Admission £3, pay at the door.

This Saturday 8th November 11am, join Keep Jesmond Clean for a litterpick, starting from Jesmond Library. All equipment and hi-vis jackets provided. Enjoy the camaraderie, and a warm cuppa when you finish - and a sense of well-being and pride in a job well done.
