A short story...

When I was 14 years old, I fell in love with electric vehicles. I have always had a passion for cars since I was born. Electric vehicles intrigued me in so many ways.

When I was 15 years old I joined Twitter (X) and got involved with the Tesla community online.

If you currently hold Tesla shares and want them to stand any chance of growing again, you’ll ensure Musk stays on as CEO and restore the comp package he was given in 2018. The alternative is a corporate manager who will slowly de-risk it into the ground.

He’s not wrong. While I remain passionate about Tesla I sold my shares starting earlier this year. I held most from 2018 until now. I did trade out about 1/3rd in early ‘22. Bought Berkshire and traded back around the 2023 low. But the vision is murky and needs clarifying.

As such we would have expected more than 14 people to have died if it was no more or less safe than an average human

But there are no known fatalities yet.

FSD v12.3.4 seems to have made some big gains. I need to do more testing, but just took a 30 mi, 40 min trip from downtown Pittsburgh to my house. Only intervention was for a lane change it hesitated to make and needed to. In mixed city, highway, and rural conditions it rocked.

Can’t say I share the views expressed here on all points, but who cares. Phenomenally fascinating interview.

People who think AP or FSD isn’t safer are betting on a conspiracy. Tesla is one of the most transparent development companies out there. Too many high ranking executives are publicly out with the idea it is exceptionally safe. Love it.
