I know my licence fee isn't a tax but as one of the few people who pays it, stories like this stick in my craw. Delighted my licence fee goes towards paying Gabby Logan salary of £205,000 and she can then do this. Is she a good poster girl for Muscular Dystrophy UK? bit.ly/3IZzVxZ

Guaranteed to annoy much of the rugby world and shock a few WWI historians. And he is going to stand for another term! More evidence that I have somehow found myself in a parallel universe and have my own version of YouTube - youtube.com/watch?v=095kXN…

He James Clayton (demonstrably) tells a big lie and then isn't quick witted enough to tell a small lie in order to get himself out of trouble. Delighted that I'm paying his salary thru my licence fee. youtube.com/watch?v=Frr4Y8…

Press night at the National Theatre National Theatre yesterday. Whispered from gentleman on my left: "I don't suppose you've got a spare pen?" I was able to oblige. No idea who the fella was and would always spare his blushes. Never really expected it to ever happen though.

Interesting that when Stokes collapses after being hit and is obviously in pain, the first thing he does is ground his bat in order not to be run out, something that Cricket Australia players would have done without hesitation.

I share a lot of DNA with this guy. I would react with a similar level of embarrassment, and I too have problems in keeping my trousers hitched up as I would like. youtube.com/shorts/zmfcP1i…

One day there will be intelligence in YouTube ads. The algorithm will think: "Wait! This sad sack watches cat videos but doesn't have a cat so he doesn't buy cat food. We're wasting our time here. Advertise a social club or further education to him so he leaves the house ."

I have to do this every few years. Horses should mooch on farms and perhaps be ridden by children. The equestrian industry stinks. Disgusting Charlotte Dujardin #CharlotteDujardin is an instructor here. Her Orwellian phrase is "an error of judgement". bit.ly/4bWU8zD

Staggered that The Washington Post with a tagline of "Democracy Dies in Darkness" is trying to sell to me when it doesn't even have the chutzpah to get behind a candidate in the upcoming election thus breaking with an age-old tradition.

It's commendable that he's there for Southampton when they are almost relegated. But you have to think it's a PR stunt. This is the man who holds a green card, and who once giggled on video while a pupil at Winchester when saying that he didn't know a single working-class person.
