The right to vote includes the right to run for & hold public office. They are one and the same.

Our governments can not open the door for allowing non-Canadians to run our governments.

'According to a revenue neutral tax map provided by the city, homes closer to the downtown will pay less tax. Suburban homes, where the values grew by more, will pay more property tax overall.'

It's inequitable when outer communities are paying a higher taxes for less services.

This came to council and I and 3 others were the only ones asking; why do we need another fee when people are struggling with grocery bills? Why do we need a bylaw on single use plastics, when the Feds are banning them prior to this being inacted?

It was my understanding that the Navy, as an unbiased 3rd party, was willing to review (investigate) the situation.

Council chose to remove Chu, and as a result further review will no longer happen as he is not on the committee.

Potentially a missed opportunity.
