When I was in High School, the varsity girls lax games were free and we played at 5pm. The boys games cost $5 per ticket, and they played at 7pm under the lights. That was my first exposure to the disparities between men and women in sports. They weren’t better than us.

There is an absolute crisis in the NCAA. Too many young adults are dying as a DIRECT result of the trauma the NCAA causes elite athletes. I’ve seen the way that our current system of college sports exploits and harms us, and I’m sick of it. My heart hurts.
