Update from St. Louis, MO Police. One-year old girl is stable but in critical condition. Police say the other man shot was trying to carjack a woman. Police have not determined who shot child and suspect. Suspect is stable and in critical condition.

St. Louis homicide detectives requested at scene of shooting near Pleasant and Lee tonight. A one-year-old child was shot in head. Condition not known. 23-year-old make shot in chest was breathing.
