A thing I keep repeating to people about AI: large language models like ChatGPT don't even _try_ to answer the question, "what is true?" They try to answer the question, "what might a human say?" If you've ever been on the internet, you know how different these questions are.

The County applauds this decision by the FCC. We advocated for the restoration of Net Neutrality because everyone in Santa Clara County deserves reliable and open access to the internet − including for immediate access to critical information from the County during emergencies.

Does anyone have any tools or contacts for reinstating a Google group? A large, established, important, and entirely legitimate academic group was recently shut down, apparently due to a malicious report, and Google has offered no explanation or path to appeal or discuss.

My heart is heavy but my spirits are high as I grieve the loss of the ⁦USC⁩ students’ encampment but celebrate their courageous & conscientious fight against our complicity in mass graves, collective punishment, forced starvation, & the killing of more than 14,000 children
