Phone call with mum. She spent approximately 90% of the call telling me about how wonderful the audiobook she’s listening to is (I got her an audible subscription for Christmas). Out of her 5 audiobooks so far, 4 are read by Samuel West 💙💛. I think she might be a bit of a fan.

Didn’t take my camera today, but couldn’t resist photographing this self-promoting squirrel in Peasholm Park, Scarborough.

Meet my new friend, Steve. He has spent the last 5 minutes trying to work out how a monkey nut works. Is a bit confused why anybody would throw him something when it is still in its packaging.

So far today I’ve had breakfast (pot of peach pieces) at 4:15am, and brunch (eggs benedict) just now. Wonder how many more little meals I can fit into my day.

Happy sigh. I’m ‘home’.
