We are starting a "Fortunate Friday" at ECMS. Our first honor goes to the amazing ladies in our cafeteria. They are short staffed, with 3 people doing the job of 5 people each day. They work through this to serve over 550 student and staff lunches each day with a smile and grace!

#Naespchat A1: I’ve been trying to leave work at a reasonable time and set limits on working from home.

A2: I take a break to just interact with kids in the building. They are so excited when I join them in their class discussions, review games, or activities. It reminds me of my “why” #Naespchat

A3: exercising regularly in my home gym with the peloton app, healthy sleep habits, and weekend walks with my husband and two dogs. #NAESPchat

A4: I have an amazing school resource officer who can sense when I’m in need of support, rest, or prayer, Eddie Kirk . I also have a spouse that picks up the slack at home and helps me handle stress. #NAESPchat

A6: I need to reclaim my weekly trivia night with friends! We went a few weeks ago and won 2nd place only because, according to the host, we were “having so much fun, we deserved it” Covid took away social habits and I need to claim these moments back. #NAESPchat

A7: Our 6th grade dance is Friday after school. You can bet I’ll be on the dance floor having a great time with our students! #NAESPchat
