🥁 We are happy to announce that our paper "Tonative: Community-Driven Extension of African Datasets Through Human-AI Collaboration" got accepted at #AfrilangAI, where we talked about our data extension methodology. Our co-founder, Jayne Amol, would be Kampala to present it.

Today, Jayne Amol presented our work at the AfriLang Conference Kampala, organised by SunbirdAI. It was insightful learning about their work and also sharing ours. We believe their new multilingual translation model, #Sunflower, will foster our work better for Uganda languages.
