The French 1-year forward electricity contract just traded above €1,000 per MWh for the first time (that's not a typo: one-thousand-euros!!!), up from the 2010-2020 average of €45 per MWh. Earlier today, I published this Bloomberg Opinion column on the crisis bloomberg.com/opinion/articl…
