Two versions of the same map. Which style do you prefer for AMYGDALA: Prelude? On one hand I want the game to be artistically interesting, but I also want it to be spooky and atmospheric. [Poll in replies]

I did this the wrong way around, and whilst it's possible to build a game from it, it's like building the concrete slab under the house last instead of the other way around- a lotta work and tonnes of re-organisation. Build the pretty on top of the gameplay!

I've long felt that good surface impact sounds & effects make great for great immersion when it comes to gunplay! AMYGDALA: Prelude features large tiled areas, so being able to have tile flecks chipping off the wall and fine glass dust when shot really makes it feel complete.

The huntsman spiders in AMYGDALA: Prelude function like real huntsmans; they will typically scurry away from the player, and tend to avoid attacking or biting.

I feel like the Black Labyrinth DLC perfected AMID EVIL's art style. I can't get enough of it! We need more early 2K 3D art style games!
