Years ago, when we were designing Highmark Stadium it was dreaming of moments like this that motivated us all, kept us grinding, kept us believing. Such an amazing night for x - Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC and the Steel Army and all the people who have given so much to the Club.

Tessa was so frustrated in our first-ever private session years ago. She was working like a demon but just couldn’t grasp a specific piece of footwork, and began to cry (sorry for sharing that, Tessa Dellarose) Tonight, in this moment, I admit…I teared up. So proud of her!

Words cannot express what Gene means to Pittsburgh soccer, to QV, to the Riverhounds, to ODP, to so, so many players. To me. Bringing the Riverhounds back to life w/Geno & others formed bonds that could never be broken. He was the glue. Love you, Geno.

This last few days has helped provide a deeper sense of purpose. There are so many challenges in growing the game but also so many opportunities. The more we focus on the latter, the more strength, unity, and conviction in attacking the former.
