Kappe Research Group developed a flow-enabled 𝘊-glycosylation of the Remdesivir pyrrolotriazinamine intermediate. The five-feed process uses a single temperature zone with a residence time of <1 min (47% yield). bit.ly/3j1lhGY

Just out in Organic Process Research & Development: Performing a challenging C-glycosylation on route towards #remdesivir in 1 min at room temp. Only possible with #flowchemistry! Congrats to Timo and Jason Williams. Check out our RCPE #openaccess paper here: bit.ly/3kVrDs5

We are hiring Uni Graz/University of Graz! 3 year postdoc in the field of life cycle assessment applied to continuous processing/pharmaceutical manufacturing: bit.ly/3gNfJ2p (closing date January 20, 2021). Please RT!

We are up and running on the department website Biomolecular Systems Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces. We are currently looking for motivated scientists to join our lab to carry out their Master thesis. Come join us! We welcome PhD and Postdoc applications. please email John directly mpikg.mpg.de/6499394/synthe…

Very happy to see the results from this project published in Angewandte Chemie. Congratulations to everyone involved, especially @SagmeisterPeter and Rene Lebl, who put in a huge amount of work! But the story isn't over yet...

A nice highlight of work from Alex Alexander Steiner. This was a really fruitful collaboration between Kappe Research Group, Corning Incorporated and Microinnova Eng. !

In his webinar on #photochemistry organised by Corning Incorporated, Dr. Jason Williams will share case studies from the #CCFLOW labs, discussing the scale-up considerations for a range of photochemical processes. Register at lnkd.in/dWz-Ens! Jason Williams Kappe Research Group #continuousflow

We are hiring! We welcome applications for a PhD focusing on new photocatalytic methods for the rapid generation of molecular complexity. Come join us at Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces Biomolecular Systems. Likes and retweets are greatly appreciated mpikg.mpg.de/6551154/phd-po… Chemjobber PhD in Germany

We will have 3 talks at this conference by Sandor B. Otvos @SagmeisterPeter Jason Williams describing the #flowchemistry approaches RCPE takes to contribute to the green manufacturing of APIs. Check out the program here: gcande.org

Check out this paper with Thermo Fisher and Askat (askat-inc.com) in ChemEurJ: Chemistry - A European Journal describing a scalable photochemical deracemization method towards a chiral API using an oscillatory flow reactor: bit.ly/3ufc71z

How to scale electrochemistry done in the #ElectraSyn 2.0 to gram or kg scale? @CantilloChem has developed a reactor that can do just that! Check it out at the Scientific Update Flow Chemistry Masterclass in Graz July 1: bit.ly/3MbEioi and stay tuned for more info coming soon.....

Check out our new paper with Merck Healthcare in ChemCatChem on how to make PROTACS in photoflow: bit.ly/3hEIvGR. A lot of solid handling involved! Kudos to Alexander Steiner and Jason Williams at RCPE and Uni Graz/University of Graz for their great effort.
