Creating boundaries with people who are an enemy to your mental peace is crucial. It doesn't matter if they're family. It doesn't matter if they're close friends. It doesn't matter if they go to your church. It’s 100% possible to love people from a distance.

People must realize the importance of creating healthy boundaries to hinder certain people to continue abusing their relationship with them. Being a Christian doesn’t mean you let people walk all over you, with your mental health being the payment. Boundaries matter.

I can’t help but notice the vast amount of articles regarding the hardship, brokenness, and pain many encounter while being in ministry and/or being a pastor. If this is truly the case, why does most of the church still ignore the conversation surrounding mental health?

Toxic relationships can create toxic hearts. Remove yourself from the relationship before your toxic heart tries to remove you from your peace.

If you have suffered in life, been neglected, mistreated, been abused or abandoned, I’m sorry that happened to you. God can take all of the hurt & pain you have experienced in life & use it to touch other people, to make us into the men & women He wants us to be.He did it for me.

Officiating a funeral for a Jesus-loving woman who took her own life today. Your prayers are greatly appreciated for the family.

Loving Jesus doesn’t always cure suicidal thoughts. Loving Jesus doesn’t always cure depression. Loving Jesus doesn’t always cure PTSD. Loving Jesus doesn’t always cure anxiety. But that doesn’t mean Jesus doesn’t offer us companionship and comfort. He ALWAYS does that.
