Students in Environmental Science are working on an Element SuperHero project! The 1-1 initiative made integrating this assignment to our lesson so easy! #scpsva #makesciencefunagain

Week 3: pH and probes. Students used an indicator to determine the pH of substances and used a probe to get pH. They compared the data to determine which was the most accurate way to obtain data.

Week 3- Characteristic of Life Lab for Environmental Science students. Students are determining if yeast is alive and if it can metabolize sugar.

Week 3- Cohesion and Surface Tension. A cheap way to #engage students and to #makesciencefun . The question posed at the beginning.. “on wax paper, does water roll or glide”. Fun discussion for properties of water.

The sweetest student brought baby Ryland a present. It melted my heart, and was just what I needed!
