I wonder how this idea relates to the Beatitudes. A person is "blessed" not because they are seeking the blessing itself but because they are pursuing the good of others and the kingdom of God. This pursuit ultimately makes them a new kind of person described as "blessed."

Some of the greatest Christians I know are public school teachers. They do a phenomenal job educating students and will continue to leave an immeasurable impact on our community. I’m thankful for them. They deserve to be celebrated, not portrayed as wolves.
