4/15: CG Nakano met Mayor Buddy Dyer Dyer to express his gratitude for the mayor’s ongoing support in promoting economic and people to people exchanges between Japan - Orlando, and exchanged views on how to advance these relationships in areas like the space industry. #orlandojapan

4/14: CG Nakano attended the International Consuls Meeting 2025 hosted by Orange County Mayor Jerry L. Demings Demings. CG Nakano was able to connect with local officials, consuls, and honorary consuls through discussions on trade, tourism, aviation, and emergency response. #JapanFlorida

4/24: CG Nakano spoke at Miami-Dade Beacon Council’s International Advisory Council event, highlighting Japan-Florida economic ties, promising areas for future collaboration in key sectors, & identifying grassroots exchange programs as strong foundations in Japan-US relations.

4/25: CG Nakano met PortMiami Director Webb to thank them for their cooperation with Japan, including the Port of Yokohama sister port agreement. They agreed to expand relationship through cruises, cargo, and maritime security and CG Nakano enjoyed a port tour afterwards.

4/29: CG Nakano welcomed CityofNMB's Vice Mayor Lynn Su and NoMi CRA 's Executive Director, Mr. Adam Old, to the Consulate. They exchanged views on possible future cooperation between Japan & the City of North Miami Beach in areas such as business and promotion of Asian culture.

4/29: CG Nakano met visiting Mayor John Dailey John E. Dailey in Miami and discussed strengthening Japan-Tallahassee ties, including cultural and economic ties. Mayor Dailey once again expressed congratulations for Ms. Lucy Ho’s conferment of the Order of the Rising Sun, Silver Rays.

4/30: Florida State Legislature passed resolutions SSR 1894 and HR 8093 honoring Japan-Florida ties. CG Nakano met Juan C. Porras, Alexis Calatayud, Rep. Canady and Rep. Redondo, thanked them for their support, and both sides agreed to continue strengthening bilateral relations.
