Medicaid matters. These are some of the people whose health care is threatened by Energy and Commerce Committee Republicans, who want to gut Medicaid so they can give billionaires giant tax breaks.

This morning, Energy and Commerce Committee is voting to “defund” Planned Parenthood (Planned Parenthood) — our largest provider of reproductive health care like cancer screenings & STI tests. It won’t save a dime. It will hurt millions of patients—and increase the deficit.
Looking for waste, fraud & abuse? Big corporations are gaming the system within Medicare Advantage, pocketing up to $140B from taxpayers each year. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez introduced an amendment, the No UPCODE Act, to stop corporations from abusing taxpayer funds for their own gain. Rs voted no.

This bill is even worse, cutting $700 billion+ from Medicaid, ripping care away from millions. This bill crosses his red line. We urge him to stand by his word and vote no.
Right now, Republicans in Congress are trying to push through a bill that would put millions of Americans at risk of losing their health care. They want to cut federal funding for Medicaid, take away tax credits that help more people afford coverage, and raise costs for working
