3/4P and 3T are authors!📷 Over the past two days, children in year 3 and 4 have worked incredibly hard creating published stories with Grimm & Co . Their two stories are now on show, available to read in the forgotten library. Well done children for creating brilliant stories!📷

This morning, 3T were lucky enough to visit Grimm & Co for their story making session. The children collaboratively generated a story using their fantastic ideas, which they then wrote an ending for independently. The staff at Grimm & Co even made this into published books📷

3T and 3/4P were very lucky to be visited by the artist Dan Jones today. The children discussed with Dan different physical activities they enjoy out doors. They then used their ideas to create some 3D models on their favourite activities. It was a wonderful day of creativity,

In 1/2B we have started learning about castles as part of our new topic – Towers, Tunnels and Turrets. We learnt about why castles were built, where, when and who lived in them. The children absolutely loved it! We then did some role play, where a historian travelled back in time

Year 4 took part in a skipping workshop this morning. We learnt the single skip, double skip and the straddle skip before taking part in a game with the long rope. We are now on the look out for our best Y4 skippers to represent our school at a skipping festival in June.

A huge thank you to the friends of Greasbrough Park who came to work with our School Council on planning how they plan to spend the Nature Grant. The children shared their plans, ideas and designs, asking excellent questions from the experts.
