My lovely Mam, Jessie, would have been 99 today. For the 1st time in 25 years, I’ve used the word Mam in a story and it hasn’t been edited out. Thank you Simon & Schuster Children's Books for honoring my authentic Northern voice in StoryDog and making me feel I belong. Happy birthday Mam ❤️
