The coolest orbital animation I've seen of Artemis 2 Just really shows you how far away they're flying today and also how precise they need to be to go to the moon

1. Corporate subsidies are not « investments ». Picking winners at the expense of others is not « investing » 2. Most job creation claims are seriously inflated because they assume that the labour falls out of thin air — that the people would otherwise be unemployed.

Thanks for the sentiments, but I'd prefer if all levels of government would spend their time exclusively on running busses and hospitals and things within their purview. Everything, literally *everything*, governments do costs *all of us* money. Even this.

This is getting ridiculous. I get it that Poilievre is not Mr. Congeniality but these MPs ran under his banner just last spring. They knew who and what they were running for. Clearly this is just personal opportunism.

A few weeks ago I had a conversation with an American who genuinely believed Europe and Canada would help the United States in its war with Iran. I asked him why he thought that, given that Trump had spent months threatening to annex Canada and seize Greenland. He went quiet.

My latest: Poilievre’s right — high-speed rail is shaping up to be a “$90-billion dollar boondoggle.” Only it’s likely to be much more than that theglobeandmail.com/opinion/articl…

All of the MAGA Christians are VERY quiet tonight after Trump posted an AI image of himself as Jesus Christ. Nobody wants to come out and condemn that???

American voters famously have no idea whatsoever of the world beyond their borders. But Canadian voters often do them one better by also having no idea whatsoever of the world *within* their own borders.

This smells of desperation; the only people for whom this would resonate are the slack-jawed mouth-breathers in the CPC base. A message the the effect that "Mr Carney is setting aside his economic expertise for crass partisan gain" would reach more people - such as me.

"Causes have been set in motion but there are precious few signs of progress." Good luck, Mr. Prime Minister. nationalpost.com/opinion/john-i…

This is a fair point on the finance minister. It's also extremely fair to ask why a family in Manitoba or New Brunswick is going to pay $8,000 to subsidize train rides from Toronto to Montreal via their federal tax dollars, not to mention the debt servicing charges forever.

I'm all for attendance metrics as a prerequisite for getting a credit, but as actually counting as part of the grade itself? Bonkers.

Fun how Pierre Poilievre is the politician attracting most of the interest on high-speed rail, a Liberal plan that consists of nothing but question marks and dollar signs.
