Great summary of a really worthwhile discussion. If the NCS can keep person-centred care, consistency across Scotland, and true co-design at its core. This could be the real catalyst for positive change (ever the optimist!)

Its the little things! For the first time in over a year, Grandad able to make us a coffee (joint effort) Usually have to ask staff, as care home cafe never stocked but it’s always the first thing he says during visits, 40+ yrs of cuppa making @ home! Some normality & empowerment

Having shared lots about Grandad’s dementia journey and our experience as a family, it feels only right to share that his journey has come to an end. He passed on Christmas Eve with us all by his side. We are broken, but with a sense of relief for his peace at last.

Enjoyed chatting to so many future nurses, hearing their NQP aspirations and hopes for the future. Flying the flag for all the fantastic career opportunities we have here in Fife!

Great time had at the NHS Fife Older Adults Mental Health Services celebration day! Lots of fun, learning and reflection to celebrate the dedication and achievements of our service. The lived experience talk was very moving & inspiring. Proud to be part of this team!

Lots of great discussion at the Fife dementia education online event this morning. Always so worthwhile to bring people across sectors together. Huge thanks to tracy , older adult psychology service and NHS Education for Scotland (NES) for making it happen!
