Our mission is to save every one but sometimes we can't save people. This , with the help of Megan and Brogan Griffiths, we're sharing the story of Haydn who sadly drowned last July. This post is dedicated to him, and all those we couldn't save.

In our latest blog we ask why the right science is not being done to help conserve and protect our Swift populations - as well as other urban birds suffering drastic declines.

Visiting my brother who has quite a colony of house Martins and just peeping out of the bathroom window to see their antics.
I could watch them for ages.

Is it ever possible to return from an evening watching Nightjars & feel disappointed? I don’t think so. Another fantastic evening at Burton Common nr Hinton Admiral in Hampshire. Didn’t even need to try the handkerchief trick, they were circling me all night. Brilliant!

We are delighted to share that these results are the first in the UK to show such a significant decrease in soil mineral nitrogen at a rewilding project, with a drop of 47% in just under two years at Wilder Little Duxmore.

Fantastic to be almost deafened by a Nightingale at Alners Gorse BC Dorset 🦋 reserve this evening. The only one heard singing, but another was ‘croaking’ nearby. Also had Lesser Whitethroat, Spot Fly, Marsh Tit & a few Garden Warbler whilst there. Great evening 👍🏻

Don't come across bilberry in 'my' bit of the Forest so nice to see so much up 'north' around Telegraph Hill today.

So many cuckoo's up there too - fascinating watching the interaction between them & other birds, especially meadow pippits, whose nests they were eying up I guess.

'What shall we build the church out of?'

'Literally everything mate - bit of brick, stone blocks... chuck some flint in for good measure.'

Genuinely love stories written in architecture of continuity, change, repair and renewal.
