The hysteria from Republicans is ridiculous and embarrassing. Israel struck the Iranian consulate in Damascus, killing two senior Revolutionary Guard commanders. Iran launched a feeble retaliatory attack in order to save face, and the U.S. and Israel shot down the missiles.
