Spent my day at the Leadership in Nuclear Energy meeting. Learned a lot. Idaho is leading the charge in many ways, but we also have things we need to do better. Other states are realizing the potential, and we should make sure we capitalize on all the research we've been doing.

Fire Ops yesterday was an awesome experience. Huge thanks to Professional Firefighters of Idaho for making this happen. Breaking down doors, dragging dummies through smoke filled rooms, putting out fires, climbing ladders, and more made me respect these public servants even more than I already did!

The massive one time investment we made in our parks this year is something we can be very proud of as a state.

Great time today seeing my eastern Idaho colleagues at the Idaho Advanced Energy Consortium conference. Really cool things in the works over here that will change our energy landscape!

I killed my first deer when I was 16 half a mile from where this buck went down. A lot has changed since then, but Idaho public lands are still incredible. They never make it easy, but there is nothing quite like filling the freezer with wild game from our state’s wildest places.

It’s official – Idaho has banned “diversity statements” ACROSS STATE GOVERNMENT! I’m proud to sign this bill and ensure Idahoans are hired or accepted into college based on merit and hard work.

I was excited to be at the bridge signing ceremony at College of Western Idaho today, opening the pathway for the expansion of career centered learning only a couple of blocks from District 21.

Join us next Monday for a candidate forum! This is the best way to learn about the people who are running to represent you in the Idaho Legislature.
