Kimi K2.5 - it's performance is solid in OpenCode tasks, but doesn't match Claude Opus 4.5's depth. API pricing: Kimi at ~$0.60 input/$3 output per 1M tokens is 1/8th of Opus's $5/$25. But via Claude Max ($100 or $200/mo) or GitHub Copilot, Opus's effective cost drops way below

Introducing Claude Opus 4.6. Our smartest model got an upgrade. Opus 4.6 plans more carefully, sustains agentic tasks for longer, operates reliably in massive codebases, and catches its own mistakes. It’s also our first Opus-class model with 1M token context in beta.

Claude Code now supports agent teams (in research preview) Instead of a single agent working through a task sequentially, a lead agent can delegate to multiple teammates that work in parallel to research, debug, and build while coordinating with each other. Try it out today by

.Anthropic’s Claude Opus 4.6 is now generally available and rolling out in GitHub Copilot. Early testing shows Claude Opus 4.6 👇 ➡️ Excels in agentic coding ➡️ Performs well with hard tasks requiring planning and tool calling Try it out yourself in Visual Studio Code.

Opus 4.6 and Codex 5.3 just launched, so I did a hexagon test on both of them Opus 4.6 - 1M context - great for research + enterprise work - agent teams + long-range reasoning - weaker on raw code benchmarks Codex 5.3 - wins coding benchmarks - faster + mid-task steering -
