The coolest part of DOGE is that while they crippled medical research and cost-effective foreign aid programs, they also didn’t save any money.

Finally, I don't think people appreciate just how much re-inflation we've had. Last year core PCE inflation was 2.8%. It was forecasted to fall to 2.2% in the first half of this year, instead it was 3.0% (annual rate).

Progressive ideology has led to poor governance in blue states and blue cities. This naturally makes the American electorate reluctant to scale progressive governance up to the national level. noahpinion.blog/p/why-does-eve…

This is awful. Reliable economic data is a key strength of the US economy. When Argentina and Greece faked economic data it contributed to major crises. I don't think Trump will be able to fake the data given the procedures. But there is now a risk plus an awful appearance.

Jd Vance was hyping the BLS data this morning! Was this fake data or did the BLS forget to tinker with this subset as they tried to smear Trump?

After the 2022 midterms I started buying the idea that polling on the economy was a mirage and since most people liked their personal financial situation it wasn’t something that moved voters. In retrospect that was obviously untrue, and Dem over-performance was due to Dobbs,

Bachelors degree recipients contribute around $700,443 more than high school graduates back to the economy through higher taxes and spending. Capping out-of-state enrollment will help us retain them and reverse Indiana’s brain drain. Read my latest column below.
