They’re consistently able to handle any task because of the amazing family support they have at home. I cannot thank you enough for all you do!

Incredibly thankful for our Families and the support they provide to our Soldiers and to our U.S. Army. Our Soldiers travel the globe and have the difficult mission to protect our Nation and way of life.

Every day I am proud of what our Soldiers do for our @usarmy, Nation and within our communities. I’d like to highlight the heroism of Spc. Rene Rodriguez, a combat medic assigned to the 25th Infantry Division. U.S. Indo-Pacific Command U.S. Army Pacific

On Oct. 20, 2022, Rodriguez was on his way to Oahu’s North Shore when he witnessed a woman being assaulted by an unknown attacker. Disregarding his own safety, he intervened and allowed the woman to reach safety until emergency services arrived.

He then escorted her to a medical facility for treatment. For his heroic actions, Rodriguez received the Soldier’s Medal, the highest Army decoration a Soldier can receive for valor in a non-combat event. His actions that day are the epitome of what our Soldiers are all about!
