A very successful North Coast Winter Sportsmeet this past week for the Northern Lights Academy Sportsmeet team!! Highlights include 2nd overall with 1st place finishes in badminton and boys northern games. A huge shoutout to JCEM Kapvet for being great hosts! Lets go Eagles 🦅🏸

Day 2: Adverse weather couldn’t stop the Huskies from capturing gold in ball hockey at the 2024 North Coast winter meet today! Awesome game between JHMS and JCEM in the championship. A slight weather delay for now but back at the school for Northern games soon

Winter sports meet 2024 started off with a bang yesterday! The Jens Haven Memorial School Hiskikut travelled to Makkovik for a number of competitions! The Huskies started off with a 3rd place finish in Badminton. Congratulations to NLA (Rigolet) on advancing to the regional qualifier

S1 placed 🎲 on their cone. Using a forehand/backhand, S1 hits the 🎲. S2 records the score. Ss Switch.

This helps Ss practice the stroke w/consistent form & gives a visual for how high the 🎲/ball should be held for a serve.
