This was one of the original concepts for Jessica Rabbit in Electric Tiki's Animated Ladies line. The base would have been an art deco affiliated stage. If you look closely at the rough sketch, in the BG you can see a version with her arms swaying to the right behind her back

Goofy first appeared in 1932 as a character named "Dippy Dawg" in early Walt Disney Productions cartoons. Have you ever wondered why his name is Goofy? This is the story.

Got my hands on @jothezette's book (general release soon!) and this crossover art with Bonkers had me laughing. ๐Ÿ˜† Yakko's face sums up our thoughts on the show (sorry Bonkers!). For evidence, listen to our trainwreck Bonkerscast episode! Don't worry, the Animanicast will return!

Maurice LaMarche has revealed at Astronomicon that he disliked many choices that were made in the Animaniacs reboot like making the Warners the victims of a crazy world and his character the Brain being too villainous and mean #animation

slapstick comedy is kind of a lost art. No one finds the humor in a classic pie in the face punchline now we have to reference modern thing/slang

Adding onto this, it's amazing to remember that these shorts were meant to be shown in front of a movie and then never seen again. It speaks to the passion for the art form these great animators had that they packed so much love and skill into what could've been disposable.
